De Baserunner is een compacte, veldgeoriënteerde motorcontroller die oorspronkelijk is ontworpen om in de onderbuis van een accu te passen. Deze versie is geconfigureerd voor installaties zonder accu in de onderbuis. De accukabel komt samen met alle andere kabels aan de achterkant van de controller naar buiten, waardoor de behuizing iets breder is. Dit apparaat gebruikt de WP8 CA-stekker en kan snelheidssignalen, temperatuursignalen of gecombineerde temperatuur- en snelheidssignalen ondersteunen via de witte draad van de Z910-connector.
It is compatible with up to 14s (58V) battery packs and is terminated with a Z910 waterproof HiGo motor plug. Cables and connectors are otherwise identical to the Phaserunner, and remote on/off switch wires are present under the throttle heatshrink. Requires computer setup to mate and configure with a given motor, and this requires the USB->TTL communications cable if you don't already have that. Requires CA3-WP and MFSwitch or separately wired on/off switch to turn on
